PROMISE AUCTION
It’s a few years since we held the last promises auction, which raised over £4000, so we thought it would be a great time to do another one to raise money for some projects which will make a difference to the village.
We will be asking for suggestions of how you would like to see the village improve for all ages of the community, so start thinking about some ideas.
To raise money for these projects we will be holding a promises auction on Saturday 21st November in the Village Hall at 7.30pm.
A light supper and drinks will be available and
it will be a great way to find some unusual Christmas presents, such as ball room dancing classes, a meal out for two, or a day with a bee keeper plus many more.
We need lots of promises which can be anything from baking a cake, donating some eggs, doing some gardening, or perhaps you have a holiday home you would offer for a short break, or anything in between. Just fill in the attached form and pass to one of the committee members, or e-mail your promise by 15th November.

CAROL SINGING IN THE VILLAGE
Last year a group of us carrolled our way around the bottom end of the village on a cold December evening, bringing seasonal cheer to the families there. We raised a small sum of money to help pay for such things as this newsletter and the website, and we intend to gather again on 15th December for another sing song. It was fun! All singers welcome !
